Viewing a Non-Coverage Gap Submission Details
About Submission Details
When the Validation Analyst creates a Submission, the submission is listed on the Submissions list table. From the Submissions list table, the Analyst can access and open the Submission to see the details and modify the Submission if any revisions are required.
To view a Submission, on the Submissions list table:
Click the Submission Name link.
or
Right-click on the Submission row and select the Open option.
On the Submission details page, the Analyst can:
- View the Submission header details.
- Edit and update the Submission using the Manage Submission option.
- Add Comments to the Submission using the Comment option.
- View the dollar amount that details the total savings from the requested Rebate. This value is presented in the Savings from requested rebate field.
- View the Submission Process and results overview.
- File Upload Progress and Status in the File Card.
- Run Validation on a Submission and view the Validation Progress and Status in the Validation Card.
- Publish a Submission and view the Publish Progress and Status in the Publish Card.
- View the included file details, add new files to the Submission, and change any file level details in the File tab.
- View the Submission Line level details before and after validation is run for the Submission in the Line Level Details tab.
- View the Duplicates and Reversals caused by the files in the Submission in the Duplicates and Reversals tab.
This section describes the information and details a Validation Analyst can view for a Non-Coverage Gap Submission.
Non-Coverage Gap Submission Header Details
The Header section displays the Submission header details specified during Submission creation on the Submission header section.
The following details are displayed in this section:
Field Name | Description |

Submission ID | The unique system-generated ID of the Submission. |
Contract name | Name of the Contract associated with the Submission. |
Contract ID | ID of the Contract associated with the Submission. |
Contract segment | Segment of the Contract associated with the Submission. |
Validation analyst | The name of the validation analyst assigned to the Submission. |
Rebate period | The Submission rebate period value is provided during Submission creation. |
Receipt date | Receipt date for the Submission. |
Days to pay | Remained days to pay for the Submission. |
Due date | Due date of the Submission, |
Last Updated
|
Displays the date when the Submission was last updated. Note: The value is displayed in the UTC timezone. |
Savings from requested rebate |
Displays how much has been saved from excluded lines. The sum of the Requested Rebate Amount where the line status is Excluded is populated once the Submission is validated. In the absence of the Requested Rebate Amount value in the Utilization Data File, '--' is displayed. |
Manage Non-Coverage Gap Submission Details
The Manage Details tab lets you edit and update the Submission Header, Contract, and Analyst details information. Click the Manage Details tab; the Manage Details window is displayed. The fields that can be updated are in active mode. The fields that can not be updated are in read-only mode.
The Validation Analyst can edit the following details:

Receipt Date/Postmark Date: The Rebate due date value is auto-refreshed based on the revised Receipt date/ postmark date.

Segment: The business segment of the files in the Submission can be updated.

Contract: The Search contract to add contract details search options are limited to the Contracts only for the selected Customer. When the Analyst selects a different Contract, all contract-related fields except the Customer Name and Customer ID are changed per the newly chosen Contract. Validation Analyst: The name of the Validation Analyst can be updated.
After editing the Submission, a confirmation message is displayed for the Analyst's confirmation when the Analyst saves the changes. Click Yes to proceed with saving the revision done to the Submission.
Overview Tab
On the overview tab, the Analyst can view the Submission's process and results overview the progress and status of file upload, run validation, and publish the submission.
Submission Process and results overview
When a Submission is created and all file upload is completed successfully, under the Process and results overview, the Analyst can view the following information:
Total Lines: The count of total utilization lines uploaded to the Submission.
Total Units: The count of total units contained in the uploaded utilization lines.
Note:
- No data is displayed in the Process and result overview section when file upload is in progress.
- The Lines with errors and Units with errors fields show 0, and these fields will get updated after running validation for the submission. If there are any utilization lines with errors, the line and unit count with errors will be displayed. For more information, see the Validation Progress documentation.
Upload Files Card
In the Upload File card, the Validation Analyst can check the details of the Submission's progress for files added to the Submission. When the file upload is in progress, the Analyst can view the Upload files browser progress.
When the file upload is completed, the File card is marked as completed, and the Analyst can view the details like the number of files uploaded successfully and the date and time when the file upload was completed.
The file card is marked as incomplete when the file upload fails due to an error.
The Validation Analyst can see all files added within a Submission on the Files tab. For more information, see File.
Run Validations Card
The Run Validations card within the Submission enables the Validation Analyst to:
View the Validation progress and status
View the validation results Within Submission
Mark the Submission Analysis complete
Note: When the file upload is completed into the Submission, the actions in the Run Validations card will be enabled.
Publish Card
The Publish card within the Submission enables the Validation Analyst to:
File
When a Submission is created, the Validation Analyst can view all files added within a Submission within the Submission details page on the File tab. On the File tab, the Analyst can see the included files, change the included file settings, add a file, delete a selected file, etc., for the Submission. Line Level Details
When a Submission is created, the Validation Analyst can view all the lines imported to the Validata application (utilization file lines) within a Submission within the Submission details page on the Line Level Details tab. For detailed documentation, see Viewing the Line Level Details.
Duplicates
When the Submission is validated using one of the above three validations, and the validation mechanism finds duplicate lines in the Submission, those duplicate lines are displayed under the Duplicate tab on the Submission Details page. The Validation Analyst can view the lines that contain duplicates within this Submission and across Submissions listed on the Duplicates page table. This allows the Validation Analyst to take the required action by removing the duplicate lines from one of the Submissions. For detailed documentation, see Duplicate Lines in Submission.
Reversals
For the Non-Coverage Gap Submissions, you can view the reversals for lines processed by the Coordination of Benefit Rule Set validation within the Submission. In the Submission details page, the Reversals tab displays the Reversal lines. On the Reversals table, the Reversals Status column displays Caused Reversals, which means that the respective line caused Reversals. For detailed documentation, see Reversals Lines in Submission.
